stay in PDF text highlight mode

I love the recent feature of editing PDFs with comments/sticky notes. However, after selecting/highlighting text and adding a comment attached to the selected/highlighted text, the PDF editor immediately enters into "analog highlighter drawing mode", so that highlighting text again requires (as far as I can tell) manually turning off the "highlight" bubble on the top-right of the screen. Strangely, creating an analog highlight then switches back to text highlight mode, so that the two modes switch back and forth. This makes adding multiple comments to text in rapid succession tedious (I rarely if ever use analog highlighting, since text highlighting is cleaner). I'd prefer to stay in the text highlight mode unless I click out of it.
