A less complex product will have less bugs.

The core of Firefox should only be the needed functionality to browse the web.

Additions that are built in like Pocket add additional code.

I my idea is that Firefox should split Pocket out from the Firefox executable and have it as an pre-installed extension which can be disabled by users or even removed if they do not want to have have it in their installation.

'In Review' is very likely one of the tools used for kicking the can down the road i.e. delaying the need to do anything useful, in the expectation that the peasantry (we, the users) will get tired of waiting and give up.

@SaturnV, Yeah you are likely right on that one. I think the best thing is to continue the discussion and continue to ask questions

It doesn't have to be missing completely; you could add it as a system extension "more from Mozilla" before it disappears completely.

https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/tab-groups-community/ says « You asked, we built it: Firefox tab groups are here » and explains « ... in March 2022, a request for tab groups appeared. » + « Tab groups have long been the most requested idea on Mozilla Connect – our community platform – and thanks to thousands of votes, comments and passionate feedback, it’s finally here. 🎉 »

AMOF, 4,500 people had asked for tabs groups when the feature was released.

This "remove pocket" issue only has 1137 thumbs up, that's 4 times less. Maybe it'll take 4 times longer to reach release... si maybe in 2034.
