In opera and edge we users can add websites like chatgpt, telegram(web app), qtext, etc. This is a handy tool as we users can access these frequently used websites easily and this increase productivity. This is the only reason, I'm tempted to use the spyware opera & edge.

I agree. Give us something other than bookmarks (shortcuts or sidebars) that can be synced easily across devices.

Heads up, there's a discussion thread about how improvements to the Firefox sidebar are on the way. Feel free to check it out and add your feedback here: Improvements to the Firefox sidebar are on the way…

Agreed. As long as the user has control over what sites appear there

I think this is a feature that can improve efficiency, please add it.

It would be great to have such a feature, with maybe links to most used websites (ideally user-defined would be best, so that one can have stuff like Gmail, calendar app, etc.).

Ability to add any website to the sidebar as a separate button

The new sidebar has great potentiality, you can quickly search bookmarks and history, and extensions such as Side View allow to open any web page in the sidebar. However, it would be more useful if we could pin frequently used websites (e.g. wikipedia, translator, search engine, social media) in the sidebar as separate buttons, to quickly open them and switch between them. This would avoid implementing an option for each popular website (or installing too many extensions), and it would make the sidebar more flexible (similar to Edge and Vivaldi).

Allow adding any website to the sidebar, not just AI

I like the option to open AI as a narrow sidebar window from anywhere, but it would be really great if we could expand that into any website more easily as an official feature rather than needing to mess with about:config.

For instance, it would be nice to add a search engine, or a social media website, or a translator, or notes, or whatever! There's so many good, convenient uses. AI is a fine usage, but there's more. I'd love to expand that out.
