Native Huawei Email app has an option to show only unread emails from both unified inbox and all subfolders. You can access it by long pressing an app icon and it will show any unread email in whole mailbox(es). When you read email and go back, particular email will not be shown anymore. It would be great if you can add this feature in Thunderbird Android too, it's useful if you have a lot of subfolders with mailbox rules.
