Separate asking to save passwords and autofilling

Using Firefox on Windows, version 101.0.1.

I don't want Firefox to ask me to save logins on every site, I just want it to autofill the logins I have saved. Currently, this isn't possible, because in order to use "Autofill logins and passwords", you first have to enable "Ask to save logins and passwords for websites". These two settings need to be made independent.

Can't believe that this issue is still not fixed. Also, FF still is not able to autofill reddit.com username field.

I will tell you when to save passwords. I don't need you nagging me about it.

If you know a password, then I want you to fill it. I don't want to have to nag you about it.

But seeing how easy the saved password info is to use using the right click "Use Saved Password" option, autofill would be a minor but still noticeable QoL improvement.

Cant agree more. I don't want spam to save password one every website. But there are instances where I do want FF to autofill password. Right now its pick both or none.
