When entering or editing a bookmark and choosing the location dropdown to select where you want to put it, you are presented with a list -- which can be extensive -- of all your bookmark folders to search through manually. What is desperately needed here is a search function, so that you can quickly find or at least narrow down the choices for the bookmark folder you're looking for.
Unless this feature is in there already and I'm somehow missing it (please advise me if so) this would be a really helpful addition.

If I'm understanding correctly, there is a similar idea here: Add 'Folder Search' to 'Edit Bookmark' Pop-Up

Currently, there is only a progressive match feature where, once the cursor is in the list box, characters you type closely together will go to the first match. I find this hard to explain, but if you experiment a bit, you'll see what I mean. The problem is, what if you want something other than the first match? We don't have that.

Actually, that works really well! I didn't know that function existed. Holy cats!

You might want to ad a blurb there that pops up when you click the dropdown arrow, that says something like: "To locate bookmark folder, start typing its name."

But I just tried it out, and it helps immensely.

Thanks!!
