Please, please, please give an option to set the width of the scroll bar in Firefox. It's so narrow that about 50% of the time when I try to drag it down, I end up dragging down the whole window. I'm sure it's nice for those who have their smartphone welded to their palm, but some of us still use PCs occasionally, and it's so annoying I usually just use the Page Down key, making the scroll bar pointless. I can't imagine anyone with less than great vision even trying to use Firefox because of this.

Please allow the option for wider scrollbars! Most of my older family members (60+) are constantly getting frustrated trying to navigate sites. And I have to say while I have adjusted to it alright, I still find it very annoying.

The Firefox slider cursor on right side of page is very faint for my old tired eyes.  Is there a way to make it more visible? I don't have that problem with Edge but I prefer Firefox

Thanks Virgle

verbreitern Sie endlich wieder die senkrechte Scrollbar entsprechend Windows-Standard-Einstellungen!
Die jetzigen lächerlich schmalen Scroll-Balken sind unzumutbar und eine Frechheit!

Finally widen the vertical scrollbar again according to Windows standard settings!

The current ridiculously narrow scroll bars are unreasonable and a cheek!

Amen to that!  And add a setting to make the scrollbar ALWAYS visible!

I just tried switching back to Firefox from Edge. The tiny auto-hiding scrollbars are a deal-breaker, I'm going back to Edge. I don't care what the page designer intended, I want a nice fat scrollbar that is always visible.

You should be able to fix this like this:

about:config

(override default scrollbar width)

widget.non-native-theme.win.scrollbar.use-system-size -> false

(Scrollbar width)

widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override -> 30

You should be able to solve like this:

about:config

(override defaults)

widget.non-native-theme.win.scrollbar.use-system-size -> false

(set scrollbar width)

widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override -> 30

Also play with values (1-5) in:

widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.style

Value of 3 gives not-changing-width-on-focus and value 5 gives a permanently visible scrollbar.

Combine with width in:

widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override

widget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size

widget.non-native-theme.gtk.scrollbar.thumb-cross-size

Immediately enlarge the small scroll bar widths and stop automatically hiding them! The current scrollbars are narrow and hinder the operation in an unreasonable way! Make them identical to the standard Windows settings! Perhaps enable user-defined preferences to switch between the effing proprietary Firefox size settings and the standard Windows size settings!
