S/MIME support for K-9 Mail Android

Hello,

I'm using K-9 since years and don't plan on switching because it's the best mail client available for Android - thank you for developing this awesome client btw!

I would love to see support for S/MIME as it's growing importance, especially in business communication. For example the company I work for requires using S/MIME for every mail containing personal data, which means that technically I have to use S/MIME already when I just mention anyones name in an email, which makes K-9 unusable for a lot of business communication right now.

This is really needed soon. It already has PGP support, but the standards conforming smime support is a must for professional (company) use.

At moment I am not able to read encrypted mails on my mobile and have to fallback to desktop client.

@seoMatt I needed both SMIME and GPG support so I use FairEmail as well (for a couple extra bucks to get SMIME support included in the Pro version). Fantastic. Best Android Email App so far imho.

I also need both SMIME and GPG support. The only Email Android App supporting SMIME I found around is FairEmail (for a couple extra bucks you get SMIME in the pro version). The good news is FairEmail Pro is fantastic. Best Android Email App so far imho.
