Repeating task calculated from Date Completed

I would like the option to be able to set repeating tasks to calculate from the "date last completed".  Currently, repeating task reminders only work if the task must occur on the actual due date.  This causes users to delete the original task and recreate it with a new date each time.  This is unnecessary & time-consuming.  For example, if I might need to purchase something in about 3-4 weeks, I need a reminder to check the current stock levels around 3 weeks.  If it's not time yet, and I delay ordering for a week, the next task due date will be 2 weeks - not 3-4, and will need to be deleted and recreated.  Thanks!
