My idea to better generalisation is forcing all who use firefox to by default disable referral trackers when they dont come from a search engine and to allow search engine referral spoofing and when firefox does put in the referral header which search engine it did come from the referral is either just the domain name of the search engine "https://www.google.com"(same for all regional google domains i.e (google.co.uk) or "https://www.google.com/search?q=example.com" rather then the search query. This would ideally provide more Generalization and resilience against trackers and help avoid websites building and sharing what websites we visit and where we came from. another point i wanted to mention was LETS avoid sharing what fonts we use with websites and have a firefox specific set that we use / spoof for all websites. to avoid uniqueness.
There is a flaw with this approach I must say. If I was to do this right now I would be extremely unique and the only way this would work is if in the next update this was really what everybody was forced to use to generalise everyone who uses firefox and fight against browser fingerprinting.
sorry for bad grammar and spelling cba to proof check just wanted to blrut it out for all to see also one more point would be to do what tor does and force all English users to have their local as en usa and recommend everyone else to do the same but that is something already tweakable in settings
also can we make all linux users have the same user agent and windows and macos users like even if we used say a download page im sure youd be able to go and go to others and download the correct file like im sure that isnt too hard for mozilla to just make everyone very very generic not saying make everyone have same user agent im saying for each os have the same useragent
