Remove alternative search engines in Firefox Android

I would love to be able to delete alternative search engines on the mobile browser like you can on PC browser.

I will never use Bing or search Reddit or YouTube directly, and am offended whenever I see Perplexity suggested when I am searching something starting with p-e-r

You can disable search engines in the Settings, under Search -> Manage alternative search engines.

If you disable the search engines there, they will not be used nor be available in the browser.

They'll still be listed within settings because a user may decide in future to re-enable them, or because they accidentally removed them. However, they won't be available in the browser unless ticked.
