Refresh unread folders

In the folder pane, I enabled "Unread folders" to quickly find unread messages. But they remain there after reading them. It would be great to automatically refresh the contents of this view, to work correctly. I can do it only by restarting Thunderbird when too many read folders are shown there.

So, the idea of unread folders is great, but it should auto refresh. Could you do it, please? I searched for an addon for this, but couldn't find any.
