New idea
On Thunderbird desktop, one can click the eye icon to hide/show a given calendar. The option to "Show Only" a given calendar (and hide all others) is only accessible by right-clicking, then selecting the option from the modal/pop-up with the cursor.
My idea would be to add a short-cut for this useful feature, e.g. ctrl + left-click
