The newest Firefox update put the Back to tab button in the top corner when it used to be at the bottom of the window next to the pause button. The old placement was much more convenient for me. Please move it back or make it an option to rearrange where the button is.

Hi @LaughingPanda,

We are preparing a major update to PiP, and you're seeing a temporary state that will change in one of the upcoming updates (I attached the comparison of the existing and upcoming experience). You can enable the new controls by going to about:config and flipping the preference media.videocontrols.picture-in-picture.improved-video-controls.enabled to true.

For people who don't want the new controls at all, we will consider the about:config pref to revert the controls to the previous state, thank you for suggestion!

Hi @asafko, those new controls look super cool! I usually keep the PIP window in the top corner of my screen, so it's easier for me to hit the back to tab button if it's at the bottom of the window next to the pause button, while in both your screenshots it's still in the top-right corner which is farther away (a super minor gripe, I know). An option to revert to the previous set of controls, before this update, would be very welcome! Thanks!

Makes total sense, and I agree the interim state you're seeing now is not optimal (it's tougher with the full controls, as the unpip button no longer makes sense near the rewind buttons). Will keep you updated!
