It would be nice to have an option for how to open profiles: one app or a split app for each profile. While I support the idea of full separation between profiles, it's mostly a requirement for data separation, not app separation. It's such a nice idea to have a completely separate set of add-ons, bookmarks, and tabs between profiles, but it's hard to navigate between them. Maybe the Ctrl+number is enough?

My use case is customer support. Often, to help our customers, I need to have a completely new profile in my browser, and I need to create it quickly enough and fully destroy it after finishing the interaction with a customer. Sometimes in the middle of an interaction, I need to check an internal docs, and here I need to switch fast to my work profile.

P.S. I'm looking for a browser to switch from Arc. My suggestion is based on the Arc browser.

This is exactly what's needed. The critical improvement would be allowing profile switching within a single browser window, not just opening new, separate windows.

Having to manage multiple floating windows for each profile creates clutter and slows down the workflow. A fast, in-window toggle (via keyboard shortcut or a clear UI element) would preserve the perfect data separation while making it as seamless as switching tabs. This would be a game-changer for productivity.

Agreed! Please go and have a look at how the container / profile switching experience works in Arc. I'm desperate to come back to Firefox (especially now there's vertical tabs and tab groups, both done beautifully in Arc) but throughout any day I'm switching between 3 or 4 different containers in one browser window with a double finger swipe... nothing else.

It's become so easy & second nature...and thus it encourages container use... which is great for privacy management. It's the sticky feature that will keep me in Arc until I can find a browser that provides a similar negligible-effort solution for this function.

(I'm not sure whether container = profile in Arc... but either way, what I'm after is a way to separate and switch between 'session & browser config groups' that feels effortless, not clunky.)

Thanks team, love you!
