Hi,

CHROME has a very useful service/indicator.

It has a DOWNLOAD indicator/tab which is VERY, VERY USEFUL specially if one wishes to avoid OVERLOADING the system with multiple downloads simultaneously.  It also reduces the chances of FAILED DOWNLOADS.

Can we have a similar system on FIREFOX. The present one is a non-starter; sorry!

Hello, I know that in Chrome the downloads are displayed in a bar at the bottom of the screen. In Firefox, as I recall (since I did a bit of modifying on my part) the download "pane" opens up every time you make a download.

To me it seems that the behaviours for following the progress of Downloads are similar between Chrome and Firefox. What exactly do you think is missing in Firefox?
