Pinned Messages - Things to Do

With a large number of messages received, a folder where you could collect messages that require immediate attention would be very useful. This would allow you to simply mark a specific message, which would not be copied but merely filtered into a separate folder, for example, "pinned." Once the matter is resolved, such a message could be unpinned from this folder. This solution would allow you to always have messages that require interaction at hand, regardless of the account, and once the matter is resolved, you could unpin the message.

As long as the "pinned" item could not be deleted until it were unpinned. Could be an enhancement to Stars. Currently starred items in the Unified Inbox can be accidentally deleted without any confirmation. Apparently the settings option to notify before deleting starred items does not apply to the Unified Inbox, only "in message view".
