Pin Favorite Folders on top so that it no longer disappears to the top in longer folder structures.

Potentially related idea (if I'm understanding correctly) - Display "Favorite Folders" at top of Folder Pane

Indeed @Jon, that's the same feature.
@LukeS, as of Thunderbird 115, you can move your Favorite Folders to the top (by moving them up), and you can reorder other Folder Mode sections such as the new Tags view.

not quite the same, because the Favourites folder can already be pinned or unpinned. The difference is (as can be seen in the screenshot) that in Outlook the Favourites folder is not only pinned at the top, but even if the list is very long it does not disappear to the top but can always be reached "on top".
The screenshot is in three parts, on the left you see the favourites folder above and the list of other folders is also at the top. In the middle is the same view, except that the list has been scrolled further down. Here you can see that the favourites are no longer visible. And on the right, the same picture as in the middle in Outlook. Here the favourites are still accessible.
My feature request is now that an adequate solution is found for this in Thunderbird. I have many folders in my local folder for various mail accounts. Quick access to the Favourites folder would be very useful, because it would eliminate the constant scrolling up and down.

This seems to have disappeared with 15.41 as clicking the "Favorite Foler" option seems to not work at all.  I don't see favorite folders listed anywhere now!  The folder displays a check-mark for Favorite Folder, but the folder does not appear anywhere else than inside it's regular location in the folder list within the containing account.
