PDF sticky note bubble covers previous line of single-spaced text

The PDF editing feature is much appreciated! Title basically says it all. The PDF sticky note bubbles are so large that they cover the line of text immediately above the line where the comment is made, making it harder to read (see first screenshot). Compare Zotero's much less conspicuous comment bubbles (see second screenshot).
