New idea
As a screen reader user I found many webcites that has many overlays are cluttery and not as accessible to navagade as they should. I would like to suggest if firefox could have a builtin overlay management feature that a screen reader can access the feature in the toolbar, and customize which overlay to allow and which to be blocked.
