Other windows in Move tab menu

I use at least 2 Firefox windows for work, those windows are placed on different monitors and different virtual desktops for ease of access, and kind of have different purposes (I suppose other people can group tabs using windows too).

The problem is that sometimes I need to move tabs from one window to another. Detaching a tab, opening multitasking view, moving tab to a different desktop and then attach it to the second window isn't the easiest thing.

There is an extension that helps with this - 'Tab Mover', but Firefox already has Move Tab menu, so I think that aside from moving tabs to start/end it could also offer to move them between existing Firefox windows, especially when it already offers to move tabs to a new window.

previously I have always been able to move my tabs (left-right in the top bar) in the firefox window that is open, and between windows.

Now it suddenly doesn't work anymore, and that's a MAJOR problem for usability and just getting things done efficiently.

I can however a bit 2004-fashion open a menu and select 'move tab to the end' or 'move tab to the beginning' - but that is mostly not what I want, and more importantly it's really slow and annoying to have to go into a drop down menu and select an option from even further below in the tree structure.

Please undo this 'downdate' - it was perfect before!

I have no idea why the functional method of grabbing the tab and hauling it to another position, another window, or a new window of its own was replaced with the less intuitive, less useful, and less effective business of right-clicking the tab and choosing "Move to start" (left end), "Move to End" (right end) or "Move to New Window" but I can tell you it is quite annoying.

I use Tree Style Tabs and Window Titler, and it would be really nice if I could select multiple tabs and "Move to window x" by name instead of Moving to a new window and then finding the labeled window and then dragging them onto it.

This is such a simple feature to add. I hope the Firefox team can add it as soon as possible. Been waiting years for this. Edge has it.

It's so convenient for us who work on our machines and use Firefox. We need it!

I work with 5 to 7 windows unfortunately, and need this feature.

Right click a tab (or tabs), and go to Move Tab. Only options now are Move to Start, End, New Window.

I've never used any of those 3 though they are helpful, but I really only need one, which is to move it to an existing window. Just look at Edge's or Vivaldi's implementation and copy it. No need to create something unique. Just please make it happen, if you can. Really need this!

We can't just drag a tab and go to the taskbar and hover over another window as that window stays collapsed (not visible). Can't move a tab like that :(.

You also have the Firefox View, which is desperately needing features, and you don't even let us move tabs there.

Seems very simple to add.

when i work on several desktops (kde multiple desktops), i can not drag and drop the tab from one firefox window to another because those are not on the same desktop. but this is crucial in organizing tabs between at least two firefox windows on different desktops.
the right click menu is a must have feature.

Moving tabs between windows

When right clicking a tab, under Move Tab, could an option to move the tab to an existing window be added? This feature is present in Edge (which I have to use at work) and it would be wonderful to see it in Firefox. Thanks for your consideration Mozilla. (also, naming windows!)
