Please add an option to do Anything else with the download complete popup on Firefox Android.   Or at least reduce its size by at least 75%.  While I would prefer to just disable it completely,  it could be resized, on a timer, a small slide in side banner, anything as long as it wasnt so intrusive.    As it stands right now, it is more invasive on my screen than any ad that I see beyond the sudden full screens from games...     But I also have an ad blocker so that part might be a little misleading..

Has anything ever come of this, or is it still stuck here in the ideas?

The problem I've been having with the download notification has only gotten worse for me, as I have been using split view/multi window apps, and in those views, the download notification takes up nearly half the view screen..

I'd be fine  with an extension or Anything that just does something with it..

Thank you @Kater  for adding this! It frustrates me to no end. These banners or marquees or whatever they are called make the browser MISERABLE to use in landscape mode, and are more annoying than useful in portrait mode. The information is usually redundant, and typically available on the Android notification menu. PLEASE let us turn them off. Maybe an about:config setting?

Thanks!
