Option to show ONLY user-pinned shortcuts on New Tab Page (Disable auto-filling with history)

Problem:
On the new Firefox homepage design, turning off the main Shortcuts toggle completely hides all shortcuts, including manual and pinned ones. However, keeping Shortcuts enabled forces Firefox to automatically fill empty grid slots with browsing history and frequently visited sites.

Unpinning unwanted sites does not solve this, as Firefox continuously populates those empty spaces with new history entries unless the entire row or grid is completely filled with pinned sites.

Proposed Solution:
Please add a dedicated toggle under Homepage Settings and Shortcuts to disable history-based top sites or show custom and pinned shortcuts only.

Users should be able to keep a clean homepage with only a few manually pinned links without Firefox automatically pushing recent browsing history into the remaining empty slots.

All major browsers have option of showing only pinned shortcuts on homepage.

Firefox is annoying in this respect because it does not have such option. 

I want to be able to start Firefox with only a handful of selected/pinned favorites/shortcuts/bookmarks; no history, no recently visited sites, no random bookmarks, no feeds, no unsolicated or sponsored content.
