Option to open PDFs using the default Windows application only for downloaded PDFs.

I would like the option to open downloaded PDFs using the default Windows application while opening PDFs that haven't been downloaded within Firefox. Currently, the only options are to open all PDFs within Firefox or to download every PDF—even the ones I don't need—and open them using the default application.
