I sometimes come across busy pages where the images are overwhelming and sometimes give me a headache. When I go into reader mode the images are even larger. Is it possible to add the option to dim, shrink or hide images in Reader mode?

Completely hiding the images would also be useful when using text to speech

I use Firefox's "Simplified" printing feature regularly in my public library job, where printing articles from the Web is a routine request. I understand Simplified printing relies on Reader View.

An option to hide images in Reader View--and when using Simplified printing--would be extremely useful. Especially because non-background images, as the OP notes, are often enlarged noticeably in Reader view, making printing in Simplified format a challenge.
