Option to exclude calendar event emails from search in Thunderbird

I have a gmail mail account with calendar, and often when I'm searching for messages from a particular contact, the search results are covered in calendar invitations / acceptances / etc. It would be amazing if the "Filters" menu on the search results page (left-hand-side, where I can click "From Me", "To Me", and "attachments") also had an option to exclude calendar event results.
