I don't want this rounded mobile look on desktop, an option to change this in appearance would be appreciated.

Need an option to not use rounded corners anywhere in the browser UI

The rectangular design of the UI was much better than the current rounded-corner design. You can add an option to switch between the two designs.

Simple: bring back square tabs, URL bar, search bar, etc...

In the future, don't force rounded corners on users.  Make this an option.

Nova for most part is alright but it would be really nice if we could just have basic customization settings for the gradients and more importantly like just 3 options for shapes we want our tabs and stuff to be

The first option is a regular square the second is just square but with rounded corners like previous design before Nova and lastly the third is well the normal Nova rounded ones

These fairly small additions could make user experience better and help with the backlash and also soften reactions for any future redesigns

To mostly-reverse the recent UI change:

Type about:config in the web-address bar -> ENTER -> accept warning -> search for nova ->
double-click the line "browser.nova.enabled" to change it to "false"

Then, install the previous theme from here:

https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firefox-proton/

Who thought the circle tabs was a good idea? Everything about it just looks and feels awful. Please revert back to rectangluar tabs. I shouldn't have had to go through the config just to re-enable them again, it should have been an option of which style each person wanted.

Computer monitors and displays are rectangular, I don't understand why UI can't be rectangular, either. It just makes sense. Unless monitors had rounded corners simple UI elements don't need rounded corners. At the very least allow us the option to switch back.

The truth is, the new look isn't entirely appealing. I think the idea is good, but they've gone overboard with the “rounding”, it's definitely exaggerated. I don't know if there's an option to change it in “about:config”, I haven't found one. If it doesn't exist, they could create one, since some people might like it the way it is now.

@err2reroor : you can undo it that, but only until Firefox 161 lands on November 24.  Then the "browser.nova.enabled" setting will be removed

@Fencer

And is as window decoration. As they are now forcing libadwaita decoration with gray round button to everyone on Linux.
