Open password manager when left clicking on text field

Sometimes, when I try to log in to a website, the password suggestion doesn’t appear. When that happens, I have to open the password manager in a separate tab and manually copy and paste the login details. It would be much more convenient if I could simply left-click on a text field and get a pop-up option from the password manager to quickly fill in the credentials.
