Examples are for Windows.

Right now when you maximize Firefox window with Nova theme there is small border around whole screen. This broke many things that worked for decades.

Affected actions that stopped working:

  • move mouse to "top right" without any aim and just close window. This is working for all maximized applications
  • just move mouse up and to sides and click on any tab. Now there is pixel border that prevents this simple action
  • you could scroll page with scrollbar when mouse cursor is moved on side. Now even page scrollbar lost focus and scrolling does nothing
  • vertical tabs - with auto expand is not working because you are not over sidebar panel

This border around maximized window brings nothing but issues. Just remove it please.

+1 on this. I hate all browsers that have this completely unneeded border around the whole browser. I can't think of one reason it should exist. At the very least, just let us disable it.

It is quite hard to catch the scrollbar with your mouse now.
Even the "compact" mode leaves 1 pixel border, which prevents comfortable scrolling.
