New tab suggestion - open beside current/active tab (instead of opening at the end)

Hi,

I've been using Firefox for over 10years and love it!

I have two suggestions:

1) New tab to open beside current/active tab (instead of opening at the end);

2) <Alt> to show pinned-bookmarks-bar when that bar is set to show on new tabs only.

I'm primarily interested in proposal #1.  I've wanted this for a while.  As always, implementing it as an option would be welcome!  If that's done, I'm honestly not sure which option should be the default setting.

Proposal #2 should probably be split into a separate idea, either by the submitter or by mods.  It is a wholly separate Idea.  (I admit that I don't know what it is, and it's probably simply related to a feature that I don't happen to use.)

Sorry, I meant pinned-bookmarks-bar (not pinned-bookmarks-tab).

It'd be nice if that bar showed up when we press <Alt>.

I've found out the shortcut for this on Mac: <Shift + Command + B>.

There must be something for Windows as well.
