new tab bar is distracting, draws attention too much from the webpage

[MikeA]

I find the new Firefox tab bar very distracting. Especially the highlighted bubble style. It constantly draws my attention away from the webpage. And it makes the top part of the browser page look very crowded. I see it has pulldown options to it. Add an option there for a greatly compressed (in the vertical) tab bar. Maybe even without words, just thin shaded bars maybe (or something), for us that don't consider tabs a particularly high feature of the browser layout. (I'm on iMac desktop display)
