On my Windows 11 laptop, the circular blue/white icon for Thunderbird (version: "Ellipse" MSIX - 1.0) is so similar to the one for Mircosoft's Edge browser that I confuse them when multiple tabs (or windows) of each are showing all across my taskbar. Even though I managed to change the icon for the SHORTCUT of each app (including the ones on the taskbar that launch them), the icon showing for all the running TABS on the taskbar - for both apps - is still always their original (default)) one. And that's exactly where my old eyes need to be able to easily tell one from the other. All Internet advice about changing icons talks only about those on the shortcuts (desktop, etc) but not on the multiple open tabs where look-alike icons blend together across the taskbar. Obviously, I need only one of the two app's icons to change and, at this point, I wouldn't care which one. But since it seems impossible to get Edge flexible, I am asking for Mozilla to make this possible with Thunderbird.
