The Multi-Account Containers extension is a very useful addon as it prevents websites from accessing all your browsing data by limiting it inside containers. I love this so much as it enhances the privacy. For example, I keep all meta related websites like facebook, instagram in a seperate container. So the only data they can access is between their own websites and not the rest of my browsing habits.

TLDR: Please bring this extension for Android!

I found this through Mozilla Connect Monthly Recap: Top-Voted Ideas for January 2026 and am surprised to learn that this is a nearly four year-old thread.

Absolute yes to this. Multi-Account Containers, alongside Enhanced Tracking Protection, is what keeps me on Firefox. Even if I prefer a browser without AI whatsoever, Firefox is still gonna have the better privacy tools that keep me from being tracked. I would love this on mobile.

(Yes, I use an extension on Android to auto-delete cookies. Feature parity with desktop is a no-brainer to me.)

WebLibre android browser does support containers, it's still an alpha stage browser though.

This would be a very welcome feature indeed. Right now I have to use a different browser (Edge) on Android to isolate websites and accounts.

I'd rather be rid of Microsoft Edge entirely. Please make this happen! 😁

I'd really like to see this.

One use case is that I have multiple email accounts, and often need to log into the same site with different identities. On the desktop, I can do this with both Firefox Containers and Chrome profiles. I would like to be able to do the same my phone.

Another use case is that certain sites that I am, unfortunately, forced to use only allow one instance in a browser to be open at a time. That's a bug, but it's real. Containers provide a way around that.

Hope we get this soon since tab groups is already being worked on and brave already has containers also on their desktop beta

Containers in Firefox mobile would be great!!!

Maybe we could use groups (which is being developed) and assign a container to each group!!!
