Status: New idea

hi,

I know it sounds hopeless to even identify which "other window" one would get her/his tab moved to....
But it is actually a simple thing....
Plus you could make some restrictions like it wouldn't work when there are more than say, 6 windows 🙂

I have this all the time: I want to move my tab, but I can only copy and paste its URL...
It's pretty hard to keep up (some type of) "order" like this 🙂

If we could move our tabs to existing windows, life would be an even better thing! 🙂

thanks if you even consider

Peter

Chrome has this feature and it's very convenient.

Making moves

previously I have always been able to move my tabs (left-right in the top bar) in the firefox window that is open, and between windows.

Now it suddenly doesn't work anymore, and that's a MAJOR problem for usability and just getting things done efficiently.

I can however a bit 2004-fashion open a menu and select 'move tab to the end' or 'move tab to the beginning' - but that is mostly not what I want, and more importantly it's really slow and annoying to have to go into a drop down menu and select an option from even further below in the tree structure.

Please undo this 'downdate' - it was perfect before!

I am totale agree. I hope that the update of firefox will integrate that, asap.
