Add mousepad gestures into firefox to two finger swipe left to go "back: or right to go "forward".
This idea was shared with our engineering team, and we're happy to report that it's already "In development."

Mouse gestures for the Firefox browser, sometimes the gestures are very handy.
When I make my migration from chrome to Firefox # the feature I miss the most is the ability to go back one page using touch pad gestures like dragging two fingers to the right go back one page and this save a lot of time
Not only that but I think you could implement more features with gestures.
Quick update on the developing Swipe2Nav feature: We just landed a new animation style on Nightly that is currently being reviewed by UX and in testing with QA. All indications are go for Beta in x105.
Please test it out on nightly or upcoming beta and post your feedback.
Hope to see it as soon as possible on Linux under Wayland.
That is next on our roadmap, reuseman.
Once we qualify and release for WinX, we will be moving the Linux version to QA. Thanks you your engagement.

Quick update on Swipe2Nav on Windows:
Currently approved by QA for release by default on x105. We are working to get the Linux version on x106.
Actually, I'm using chrome for that little reason
FYI....Swipe2Nav on Win was released on Firefox 105 today. Targeting Linux for 106 and will tweak the look and animation hopefully by 108.
