I don't understand how Mozilla can implement this for PC and not work on this at the same time for Android.
Honestly Firefox being so far behind for so long is showing me that it's probably not the browser for me. It took them 3 years to implement tab groups for PC. Development is insanely slow and already behind.
Just posting a comment to bump this idea. I usually have a lot of tabs opened and I would like to group them. It would be also great to sync those groups between devices
It would be convenient to be able to create groups of tabs on android. The only way at present is to create a collection, but in reality the collection only serves to store sites and divide them. It would then be convenient to be able to hold down one tab and move it over another to create a group of tabs, just as happens on chromium
The lack of tab grouping is the only thing stopping me from fully switching over from chrome right now. Tab groups like on chrome are an absolute MUST for me, with manual dragging into groups, and almost even more importantly, the ability to close a tab and move to another one *without* having to go into the full tabs view. I was truly shocked by how useless the collections feature is at meeting my needs on mobile in comparison and I'd love to fully switch, but there doesn't even seem to be a mobile extension that implements this, so it's a no-go for now from me and many others.
