Status: New idea

The latest update of Firefox has seemingly made the "List all tabs" button unable to be removed from the tab bar like it was previously. I request that this button be made optional again.

Failing that, I request that it be moved next to the close, window, and minimize buttons, instead of having a blank space between that button and the window controls, or that it be anchored next to the New Tab button. I think it would look much nicer if it was not out on its own.

My title bar is precious real estate and this new button in infringing upon it.  At least give me the option to remove it.

In the meantime, there's a setting that allows you to remove the "List all tabs" drop down. You can find the solution in this thread: List all tabs

Let us know if that's what you're looking for 😃

That is what I was looking for, thank you. I do still believe it would be easier to make the Tab Manager (as it's called in the post you linked) a draggable/removable item in the Customize Firefox menu, though.

I need that button out of there its a total eyesore and I lost my button where I can lock my most common websites in tha pull down Address bar.

I'm considering using another browser that doesnt have that annoying assymetric arrow in the top of tha screen till yall get that fixed

Yes! Especially for us who got Firefox View, it's way more useful than "list all tabs" button!

If you wish to try, userChrome.css

#alltabs-button {display:none!important;}

Bit hacky to have to edit the CSS to do that but thank goodness that works.

But seriously. Why implement such a thing? What point does the stupid button have other than to take up space?  It lists the tabs. It lets you close them. It lets you mute them. Those are all things you can do from the tabs themselves. The only difference is that you go vertically instead of sideways.

But you can also just change your tabs to go sideways, can't you? I haven't ever done so myself. Don't care to.

And any feature you can add to the button... why wouldn't you just add it to the tabs?
