Make a browser that doesn't crash every night on exit

Operating System Mac OS High Sierra. Not the latest but still the most recent for all Mac computers that don't have Metal enabled graphics adapters, which is many. Firefox systematically crashes whenever the program is shut down. I've been submitting one report after another, but of course all that is just window-dressing. Nothing is ever done about it. I'm sure those reports just go to the cyber graveyard. So review your code, find out why it doesn't work properly and once and for all fix it.
