Login pop-up autofill username on web

Hi guys, I'm sure there's probably something similar in-progress somewhere, but is there a way that we can have the auto-fill login popup window populate the username as well? I see that it's already capable of populating the password for the website but why hasn't the username been implemented.(0_o) 

For example: Reddit- If you're looking at a post without being logged in, it'll bring up a window for you to login to without leaving the post, but the window only populates the password. The username is nowhere to be found.
