Lock private browsing behind Face ID.

Apple recently announced that Safari incognito mode could be locked behind Face ID, this idea would be very helpful and welcomed if implemented on Firefox.

Add an option that if the user enables it, all private browsing/windows will get locked each time the user changes to normal/not-private browsing and could only be unlocked if the user willingly wants to unlock them, don’t launch Face ID automatically.

It's a great idea but I hope its optional and not mandatory. Also please include both fingerprint and face recognition if Mozilla is going to include this feature.

chrome also has a similar feature on android, although I think it's a flag you have to enable. I love it, I just use the fingerprint reader, but it could be done with a passcode or similar measure.

Please add this feature, as ThirdNebula said chrome has this as well and I found it to be useful for private browsing and was disappointed that the firefox android app doesn't have this.

The problem with that is that it would reinforce the erroneous idea that Firefox's "Private Browsing" is private.  It isn't: it only doesn't show in History and clears cookies on exiting.  Your ISP and the other cyber bogeymen can still see what you're up to.  The information may also be in your router logs.
