Let me disable the "What's New" tab.

Let me disable the "What's New" tab. I don't care, I don't want to be bothered, and I don't need unnecessary clicks. Life if hard enough without being tickled to death by digital nannies. Apparently there used to be a flag in the hidden settings to disable this tab popping up. Why was it disabled other than out of contempt and hubris? Just let me live my life.
