Keep the current separate search bar behaviour (ie not the widget)

I can see that changes are made in the search function nowadays, and I want to point out that the existing search bar works wonderfully well to some of us (at least for me !).

A few days ago on nightly, the same search widget as in the address bar appeared in the search bar. I tried to use it but found it very cumbersome. Hopefully a config setting exists to get the previous behaviour back. But I fear this possibility gets removed some day.

Even more : using the widget, middle click doesn't work (as in opening a new tab), it just overwrites the current tab.

As an example, here's something I can't seem to be able to do with the widget : perform the same search on several engines in a comfortable way. Currently I just have to type in, then middle click on every search engine I want the search done, fast and easy. On the new system it's much more tedious, at least four clicks are needed for each engine : one to cancel current engine, two to change engine, and one to start searching, phew… And if you add the middle click problem it's even worse !

So please keep the current one as an option, it works well.

Strongly agree, switching search engines is quite inconvenient under the new design
