In the search engine selector, have select & search option

In the search engine selector, which might contain DuckDuckGo, google & bookmarks, currently what's in the search bar doesn't get searched after choosing one. I'd like for it to be a select & search addition, possibly in the same fashion at it currently is, but to the right of the selections there would be a right arrowhead that would perform the search using the selection option, eg:
