Mozilla's Cloudflare encrypted DNS uses the DNS over HTTPS protocol, but now there is an even better protocol, which is Oblivious HTTP. Mozilla has partnered with Cloudflare to launch mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com, and I hope Mozilla can collaborate with Cloudflare to launch a DNS based on the Oblivious HTTP protocol. Waterfox already has a DNS with the Oblivious HTTP protocol.
