Have a view that shows tabs as thumbnails/previews in Desktop just like in Android/iOS

Firefox for Android and iOS has a view of the tabs which are shown as thumbnails (just like the preview we already have). I don't understand why this option, which is very handy and useful, is not available natively in the Desktop version.
