Is the global inbox in unified folder view not adequate?

Ich denke, der gesammelte Posteingang läßt sich über die Zusammenfassung "Lokale Ordner" erreichen...

Mehr interessiert wäre ich beim Sortieren auf den aktuellen Eingang nach oben zu stellen.

I think the collected inbox can be accessed via the "Local Folders" summary... I would be more interested in sorting to put the current inbox at the top.

It would be good if you were asked when setting up your new email account whether you want to display all emails in the virtual folder "Global Inbox".

This would be really handy.  I want something where I can distinctly see which email account I'm reading from but that also combines them all into one place instead of having to remember to check each account individually.

Well, a "global inbox" is pretty much standard on mobile phones, so why not on PCs too? It would really help me to have a better overview of my 20 mailboxes.

I would also find it great if there was an option to include subfolders when outputting the email list.

It would be enough for me if I could subsequently merge my accounts into a single virtual folder or several different virtual folders.

This means I would create a folder and display the inboxes from my various email accounts within it. Ideally, however, I would be able to selectively choose which folders from the email accounts to include rather than defaulting to all subfolders.

The wizard for setting up a new email address should always suggest using a virtual folder and, if applicable, expanding an existing one.

I don't like the current controls. the layout is quite confusing.
