Hi. I have some pinned bookmark cards on main page. I want to organize them in folders (like Opera). Same would be awesome for desktop version of the Firefox as well (like Yandex browser desktop)
Agreed. I hate clutter and disorganization, and I intentionally have a very small screen. It would be so much more efficient to have, for example, 3 folders with my top three used-daily sites each for news, audio, and prayer sites that don't have apps, vs. 9 scrambled links on the Home page, especially since you cannot rename or reorder them--or take off the text completely for that matter to just use the icon.
Going along with that, it would be very nice if we could stop history from displaying on the Home screen.
@Jon& @Justine - Similar ideas have been proposed and discussed in multiple threads (see below). This is a major missing feature in Firefox mobile versions, IMHO.
I so much want to switch to using Firefox on my Android but the lack of this feature is the only reason why I cannot switch. Remember that, on mobiles, the screen real estate is less and it's better UX for user to click on saved bookmarks to dive into browsing than manually typing URLs or only visiting recently visited/recently bookmarked site or going into multiple menus (i.e. multiple clicks) to visit saved bookmarks.
Is there a roadmap on when home page improvements would be implemented? How else can I push/vote for this change to happen?
@augustleo thanks for surfacing these for us - I'll look into merging these similar threads to keep the conversation focused in one space. It will also combine the votes (kudos). Keep that feedback coming 🙌
