Focus mode for a specific tab group

I'm starting to horde tab groups like I horde tabs and can get easily distracted with all of them open. This isn't too much of a problem most of the time, but sometimes when I'm trying to work on a specific task, usually within a single tab group (which is usually how I group my tabs), I often end up clicking into other tab groups and down other rabbit holes. 

Feature request: a focus mode for a single tab group that would "mute" or hide all other tabs and tab groups while I work on a task. It can be set for a time limit or just quickly enable/disable it via the context menu. 

Not sure if other browsers have this or maybe there is already a better workaround (if so let me know), but I think it could be a great boost for productivity.
