The items under "Recently closed tabs" are only interactable through left-clicking. It would be useful if you could also open them either through the context menu (right-click) or a scroll wheel click (i.e. make them proper URLs).
The current behavior makes it impossible to open multiple tabs at once, since Firefox View disappears once you click one. With the proposed change, you would be given the ability to open as many tabs as you want before manually switching to them (assuming your "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" setting is disabled).
