It would be nice if Firefox synced shortcuts so users don't need to readd them each time they sync on a new computer.

A thousand yesses. I have tons of bookmarks and bookmark folders. I have pinned shortcuts because I know I'll visit those sites more often. I even have customized images for them. I lose them each time my computer or laptop go through emergency resets 😕

I miss old shortcut panels. Instead of the pins disappearing and sites swapping for no reason, before I could put them in different rows with empty space between. Now that seems to have disappeared after an update.

Mozilla pls fix and sync shortcuts.

I constantly switch between multiple devices and also like to distro hop a lot. I would love to have my shortcuts synced between devices.

+1,  I thought this was a bug. Seems like a pretty easy thing to fix!

Syncing a feature such as shortcuts is an obvious feature. Otherwise - why even bother to develop and tout both sync and shortcuts as added browser feature?

Worse than just not syncing - and I might be wrong - The shortcuts do sync across devices, just not in the users' favor.
As of this week a new Linux PC with Firefox installation resulted in removal of the shortcuts on my Linux Firefox laptop installation that I had for at least two years.
It looks to me, that sponsored pre-filled corporate shortcuts will override personal settings on all devices during sync.

Absolutley! Syncing everything but the shortcuts feels like such a wasted opportunity, I'd love to have my pinned shortcuts on each device saved for later, especially after switching from Chrome. Its one of the few features I really miss

I guess Mozilla doesn't care to address this issue. Been nearly 3 years and still not response or feature. Guess Mozilla doesn't 'really' care about it customer base after all.

Guys, seriously, wtf? We try as hard as we can to stick with you to not let google win completely. But you sometimes really make it harder.
